Great flick! Definitely the funniest I've ever seen on NG, and that's saying a lot! Makes those stupid College Univesity movies and Deep Fried Live cartoons look about as funny as getting your penis stuck in the garbage disposal. Keep it up!

Well

A good effort. But aren't animations supposed to move? I counted like 7 pshots of actual movement. Also, the idea was ripped straight from Gundam Wing. You've practiced drawing, now practice moving.
Also, slow paced credits are BOOOOORING to watch.

Well

You are the whinyest friggin animator I've ever heard. I think you need to just admit that you're not the shit you think you are. The ratings are a pretty good indication of how good your movie is so you gotta take the bad with the good and quit bitching.
I know my movies aren't all that great, but I let the people decide. I have been shafted on nice placement before in similar ways but I didn't bitch about it, I just tried again.
People will ilke it or people won't, just accept that and don't whine when your placement drops.
I had to put this review under this movie because I already gave your other movie a shitty review because it was slow-paced and boring, and that was BEFORE you whined.

Ben, you kick ass! But this review kinda didn't.

Let me explain: July/August I wasn't exactly feeling too great. Not physically, but mentally. People voted 0 on this movie without ever giving a reason why (same with this review). You voted 0 because I was whiny without ever mentioning the movie itself.

Again, Ben, you kick a lot of ass. I apologize if I was bitchy back towards the end of summer, but I am just trying to get some info. My movie went really high and then sunk 160 places (with 0 reviews written in between these times) so I don't know why it sinks.

I'm getting over it and working on the prequel. Thank you for your in-direct review. Sorry for the late reply :)

[Scarce Reality Preview]

I can definitely see the similarities to the Matrix, also the dialog was muffled, the movie was slow paced, and it ended to soon. Nothing was explained, therefore the movie had no plot. Camera angles were nice, but the shoddy black and white graphics made it painful to watch. Keep practicing, you had a good start!

ok, first off, the point was I got comments it was like the matrix so I CHANGED it so it wasn't, (i was refering to my original preview) second, this is a P-R-E-V-E-I-W, to show whats comming, of course it's short, duh, thank you for the compliment on the camera angle though, and by the way, I wanted it not color, I have been on flash for 2 years, my good start was then, thank you for you comments though, Have a Hectic Day! :P

I think this is great! The thing I liked about it is that it's nice and fast paced. So many movies on NG are slowwwwwwww! You also did a great job of character design, they all look like individuals. And there's no such thing as "too many motion tweens!" That's what Flash is all about! Keep up the good work!

I think your frame-by-frame was nice. It would be cool to see:
1: More backgrounds
2: Different camera angles
3: Humor other than facial expressions
4: A sensible plot
5: Music that fit better... it just didn't seem to capture the mood of the piece.

Otherwise, it had great style and originality. Keep it up!

more backgrounds??? heheh there is no need for more backgrounds in what I was trying to accomplish... different camera angles, yes there could have been more camera angles, but more camera angles means a hell of a lot more time invested I comprimsed this for time which I didn't want to spend any more of on this particular piece!

Humor other than facial expresions?
this would have went against everything that I was trying to accomplish in this flash witch was (wich you obviously didn't notice) to create a flash useing ONLY animtion... not even any real dialogue... try doing it and make it funny it's not easy.. dialogue is easy... just pictures hmmmm...

A senseible plot?
Again against the flash entirely it was meant to be stupid and no bounderies set this way it will run free in people imaginations differeing from person to person... people can put into his head what he's thinking rather than me telling them

Music that fit better???
tell me what would have fit better then some old school jazzy music to a black and white flash better???

In order for me to think a movie is "great", it has to have good graphics (not stickmen!), be longer than 10 seconds, and be entertaining and/or original in some way.

The graphics are good, but this series never really did it for me. If the framerate were higher and the action was more fast-paced and the humor was funny I would like it more.
